Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, presenting menus and offering beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the restaurant’s POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure tables are set up properly and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Answer questions about the menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks, to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time.
- Process payments and provide guests with their bills in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy times.
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of shifts.
Requirements: Waiter/Waitress Job in Dubai, UAE
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues.
