We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our team in Dubai. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving IT-related issues for our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff or external support providers when necessary.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Provide guidance and training to users on the effective use of technology and software.
- Ensure that all IT equipment and systems are functioning optimally and securely.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and software.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
