We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Catering Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage catering events from start to finish, ensuring all client needs are met.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and provide personalized service.
- Plan and organize menus in collaboration with chefs and culinary staff.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, staffing, and equipment rental.
- Ensure timely delivery and setup of food and beverages at events.
- Monitor event progress and address any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of client orders, payments, and event details.
- Work closely with the sales team to secure new catering contracts and build client relationships.
- Supervise catering staff and provide training as needed.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Catering Coordinator, Event Planner, or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
