Job Opportunity: Front Desk Clerk / Receptionist
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, handling all transactions and documentation accurately.
- Answer and direct phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide information about the company’s services and facilities.
- Handle guest requests, reservations, and bookings, coordinating with other departments to fulfill their needs.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and courier services.
- Keep accurate records of guest interactions, bookings, and transactions.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing reports.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a front desk clerk, receptionist, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using front desk software, booking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional appearance and a welcoming attitude.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic accounting tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or office management are a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
