Job Position: Host/Hostess
We are looking for a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, optimizing table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries efficiently and courteously.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and smooth service.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures, including setting up and clearing tables.
- Promote special offers, events, and menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
