Job Position: Host/Hostess
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Hosts/Hostesses to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to guests visiting our hotel’s restaurant or dining areas.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage restaurant seating and reservations efficiently, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Present menus, describe menu items, and make recommendations to guests.
- Take guest orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Ensure tables are set up correctly and that all items such as silverware and glasses are clean and in place.
- Monitor dining areas for cleanliness and ambiance, ensuring they meet hotel standards.
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables between guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient service.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification is a plus.
