Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the kitchen with various tasks, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and mixing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage areas, are kept clean and free from hazards.
- Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for meal service.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries according to proper procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours and busy periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen supervisors or chefs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
