Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
- Manage and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and suppliers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety and quality standards for logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
