Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to avoid shortages or excesses.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Implement and maintain safety and quality standards for logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain and Logistics Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
