Description:
We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in Dubai/Sharjah. The position is located in the shipping industry with a salary ranging from 3500AED to 6800AED.
Responsibilities: Accountant Job in Dubai/Sharjah, UAE
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Prepare budget forecasts.
- Publish financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or relevant position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- UAE experience and familiarity with UAE laws and regulations are preferable.
