Accountant Job in Dubai, UAE

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of financial documents and their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filing.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide support for financial planning and analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and practices is a plus.
