Job Position: Asian Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Asian Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Asian cuisine and the ability to create authentic, delicious dishes that delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Develop and test new recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create and update menus.
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Asian Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of various Asian cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean.
- Strong culinary skills and creativity in food preparation and presentation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
