Responsibilities:
- Safely transport company staff, clients, and goods to and from specified locations.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by regularly checking oil, fuel, brakes, and other essential systems.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers and goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, mileage, and any incidents.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle at all times.
- Plan routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency, and avoid traffic disruptions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting in case of minor vehicle issues.
- Assist with other duties as needed when not driving.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Familiarity with the local area and routes.
- Ability to drive different types of vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, trucks).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations calmly.
