Job Position: Front Office Staff
We are looking for a professional and friendly Front Office Staff member to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, offering assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and maintain accurate records of guest stays.
- Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries and resolving any guest issues or concerns.
- Process payments, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Provide information about the hotel, available services, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Assist with special requests, such as arranging transportation, booking reservations, or organizing events.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including managing supplies and brochures.
- Handle guest complaints or escalate issues to the management as needed.
- Monitor lobby activities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Assist in managing guest luggage and providing directions or information as requested.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front office or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computers, including knowledge of hotel management software.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
