We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Plan and develop new menus and recipes.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all food served.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Control food costs and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal and special event menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback regarding food quality and presentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
- Exceptional culinary skills and a creative approach to menu planning.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
