Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Coordinate with waitstaff to ensure smooth table turnover and efficient service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and entrance area.
- Monitor the dining area to anticipate guest needs and maintain service flow.
- Assist with taking reservations over the phone and managing online booking systems.
- Provide guests with information about menu items, specials, and restaurant facilities.
- Perform opening and closing duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
