Responsibilities: Logistic Co-ordinator Job in UAE
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Arrange transportation, schedule shipments, and prepare necessary shipping documents.
- Track shipments and update customers or internal teams on delivery status.
- Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to optimize shipping and delivery processes.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain process.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimize costs.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports, including cost analyses and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including customs requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve customer service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
