Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and conditions.
- Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze supply chain data and generate reports for management to inform decision-making.
- Implement and maintain safety and quality standards throughout the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain and Logistics Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
