Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for primary school children during school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist students with their daily activities, including classroom tasks, meals, and transitions between activities.
- Provide support with homework and educational activities, reinforcing learning and helping with any questions or challenges.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging good behavior and social skills.
- Communicate regularly with teachers and parents about the child’s progress and any concerns.
- Assist in organizing and supervising extracurricular activities and field trips.
- Ensure that children adhere to school rules and follow safety guidelines.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help children develop confidence and independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, especially in a school or daycare setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young children.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in child development and education.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to children’s needs effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in early childhood education or childcare is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
